Teaching Style

I put my passion for the drum set and music into a complete and concise package for you to observe and learn from. The ideas and concepts you will learn will help you develop in TODAY'S environment. Whether your a hobbyist with a family and other priorities, a young student with other after school activities, or a career driven student, I will be able to help you learn, have fun and develop.

My programs balance a lot of important facets of musicianship: In-depth looks at the history of musical styles and the great musicians who lead the way; staying fresh in your approach to the instrument, your ideas in performance, and your work ethic, and building a relevant, flexible skillset that can adapt to the times and whatever situation you find yourself playing in. As a musician, it's critical to be able to adapt. Some instructors don't change their teaching approach for years, and become stagnant and out of touch with current music trends. But, I'm an active player in a diverse assortment of local and national acts, committed to bringing that flexibility and relevancy back to my students. Be the musician you've always dreamed of being.

Lessons run 30 or 60 minutes in length and focus on each individual's goals, aspirations and interests.
Lessons take place at my home studio.
